August 20, 2025 / 5:30pm, Common Man Roadside (Millyard) / General Meeting – BRING A GUEST!
September 3, 2025 / 5:30pm, Common Man Roadside (Millyard) / TBA
September 17, 2025 / 5:30pm, Majestic Studios (880 Page Street, Manchester) / Community Night – Join us as we give out $60K in grants to local non-profit organizations that serve kids. Also hear about the great work that these organizations are doing in the community.
Last Wednesday we had the honor of hosting local inventor and innovator Dean Kamen. He shared stories and insights that had the entire room fully engaged. With about 30 people at the meeting, he easily could have gone on for hours. It was a remarkable experience.
We were also grateful to have Shana Hawrylchak, Executive Director of the SEE Science Center, join us. SEE has been one of our strongest community partners for years, and Shana’s leadership plays a huge role in bringing hands-on science and technology learning to kids here in Manchester.
Supporting organizations like SEE is one of the many ways Kiwanis strengthens our community and invests in the next generation. Dean, Shana, and everyone working to inspire young minds, thank you from all of us at Manchester Kiwanis. #1child1communityatatime #KidsNeedKiwanis #getactive #bekind... See MoreSee Less
Last week McDonough Elementary reached out. One of their fourth grade classes needed basic health and hygiene supplies to teach their students. I brought the request to our Kiwanis group and within a few days, right before Thanksgiving, our members stepped up and filled the entire list.
We delivered everything today. It’s just one of the many things we’re honored to do for the kids of Manchester and for the organizations that support them. We’re grateful for every chance to help.
