The YWCA operates two very needed shelters in Manchester: Emilyโs Place and the REACH CRISIS CENTER. Manchesterโs homeless population relies on the YWCA daily, knowing that they will supply them with hygiene products when they are in need. The YWCA NH also has partnerships with various other nonprofits to help with rapid rehousing, relocation services, food, clothing, and shelter needs.
We are proud of the work the YWCA NH provides, and they could not do it without community partnerships and help from organizations like Kiwanis!
Manchester Kiwanis continues to maintain and stock two book nooks in the city. They are wildly popular, we are in constant need of books.
Donations of books for ages 0-18 are appreciated and can be brought to club meetings or dropped off at The Majestic Theatre (880 Page Street, M-F 9-5, (603) 669-7469).
